Muh-ree-what?
Meribo, pronounced "Muh-REE-beau", is a word we coined by combining two Italian words: Meridionale (southern) and Cibo (food). Southern like southern Italy and "the South". Food because...duh.
Ya know.. like your cousin’s MARIE and BEAUX!

We love pizza. We love good food, good wine, and experiencing the joys of dining with friends and family. Our goal is for you to enjoy modern Italian cuisine with some of our southern influences in a comfortable environment. It's that simple.
Who are y’all?
Chef Gavin Jobe has always had a passion for food and cooking since a young age then became a level 1 sommelier to learn more and grow as a chef. Gavin first looked at the space on Lee Lane in 2012. He knew he wanted to create his own dining experience, bringing together everything he loved about the restaurant industry, but the timing wasn't quite right. It wasn’t until June of 2016 that Meribo’s doors were open & June 2020, Meribo made 4 years!
We have never been more excited about the direction we are headed as a restaurant family. A new menu, cocktail list, a covered patio, and several fantastic new additions to our team have us hungry for what the future holds.
